We can’t think of many things we’d rather do than perform at a music festival that’s actually a cruise ship sailing through the Caribbean. And, that’s exactly what we’ll be doing this year on The Rock Boat XIV aboard the Norwegian Pearl from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay.
We’re also extremely excited about kicking off the Rock Boat XIV with the official pre-party on Feb. 21st at The Stage in Miami, Florida the day before we set sail. If you’re planning to be on boat this year or in the Miami area, come hangout with us and enjoy performances of our friends Courrier and the Radio Birds!
The boat will sell-out and from what we’re told, there are a few cabins left so sign-up here and get your boarding passes!
It’s official; we’re on the bill for what will be MELODIME’s 4th Rock By The Sea event! These events are very special to us because it’s an opportunity to use our music to support a great cause. Not only will the proceeds from the festival go toward the fight against pediatric cancer but our charity Now I Play Along Too has partnered with Rock by the Sea as a beneficiary so we can help give back to the community in the form of musical instruments and education.
There’s a great line-up this year including A Thousand Horses, Steve Everett, Amy Gerhertz, Paul Pfau, Tim Brantley, and many others so be sure to check it out here (www.rockbythesea.org) and get your advanced tickets. St. George Island is a great place to plan your May getaway!
We’ll also be making a few stops to visit some children in the area that are well positioned to use music for overcoming obstacles. We can only hope that we are an encouragement to them; however, we typically leave being inspired by each of their stories.
